I don't even care about Katherine Heigl

[das ist gut]

i have little interest in Heigel myself - but i do know one of the things causing a stir is that the production bent over backwards to give her time off to do movies etc - and then had to write around her limited availability and now they feel a bit kicked in the teeth.

so - I think she's being a bit pretentious (protecting the integrity of the academy?? come on now) and kinda ungrateful.

as for Knocked Up - it was just another ball and chain movie. so i was glad when she spoke up about that.

still - it remains to be seen how all this will affect her "it girl" status.

I mean, sexist whatever, but I could not get around Knocked Up's senseless assumption that anyone would think it was a good idea to start building their potentially lifelong shared-parenting relationship by... dating.
Also, vox is mean and made me create an account just to make a damn comment. THUMBS DOWN.
My big thing was that they gave her the wrong job. There was all this "How could Seth Rogen POSSIBLY get THAT girl?" ridiculousness when he is totally cute and enjoyable. That part was easy to get -- most girls I know are downgrade dating. But don't give a job on television. There's NO WAY she would've kept that baby within two weeks of getting promoted to on-air.

Anyway.

And I didn't want to be a slave to Blogger anymore.
